2005 through 2008
Spotted Owl monitoring projects in Angeles, Cleveland, and San Bernardino National Forests with a total of 200 territories across the forests. Projects designed for standard monitoring compliance associated with Fuels Projects and to assess the impacts of long-term drought on spotted owl population viability.

2006
Ojai Valley Sewage District Directional Drilling project under San Antonio Creek monitoring potential impacts to Red-legged Frog, Steelhead Trout and Two-striped Garter Snakes. With BioResource Consultants subcontracted to URS Corporation.


1993 – 1995
Northern Spotted Owl demographic study for the National Park Service as well as habitat studies for graduate research on northern spotted owls in Redwood National and State Parks.

1992
Santa Catalina Island Bald Eagle Productivity Study (part of the ongoing Reintroduction Program) supervising the monitoring of three active nests. With Institute for Wildlife Studies, Arcata, CA under W.S. LaHaye.


1989 – 1990
Project Leader on Radio-telemetry studies of California Spotted Owls in San Bernardino National Forest.  Habitat use studies in areas of proposed forest conversion to ski runs.
